2. The commitment to high-quality psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care for mentally ill people in accordance with the current state of medical knowledge, the guidelines of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS) and the ethical principles of the Geneva Oath (modernized Hippocratic Oath).

3. The democratization and further development of the psychiatric professional representation in compliance with the Swiss Governance Standards for non-profit organizations.

4. The commitment to free choice of doctor and the maintenance of direct access to psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment in basic insurance.

5. Maintaining international and especially European contacts and exchanges with professional colleagues in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy.
